ACCEPTANCE
By accessing thevegasmattbracket.com or submitting a bracket, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site. These Terms apply to all users.
ABOUT THE CONTEST
The Vegas Matt Slot Machine Bracket Challenge is a FREE-TO-ENTER prediction contest. NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY to enter or win. Participants predict the outcome of a 16-machine single-elimination bracket tournament. This is not gambling. No money is wagered. The contest is a game of skill and prediction, not chance. The site is not affiliated with any casino, slot machine manufacturer, or gaming regulatory body.
ELIGIBILITY
The contest is open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Void where prohibited by law. Employees, contractors, and immediate family members of the Contest Operator are not eligible to win prizes. By entering, you represent and warrant that you meet all eligibility requirements.
ACCOUNTS AND REGISTRATION
You must authenticate via Google OAuth to participate. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You may not create multiple accounts to submit multiple brackets. Duplicate submissions (same email address) will be disqualified. You agree to provide accurate information, including your legal name, state of residence, and date of birth when completing your contest profile.
ENTRY AND PICKS
Picks must be submitted before the published entry deadline. Once submitted and locked, picks cannot be changed. One bracket per person. Entries are free. The Contest Operator reserves the right to extend or shorten the entry window with reasonable notice.
SCORING AND RESULTS
Points are awarded for correct picks: Round of 16 (1 pt), Quarterfinals (2 pts), Semifinals (4 pts), Final (8 pts). Maximum possible score is 15 points. Tiebreakers are applied in the following order: (1) correct Final pick, (2) number of correct Semifinal picks, (3) earliest submission timestamp. The Contest Operator's determination of results and scores is final.
PRIZE
The prize for this Contest is as described on the Contest homepage at thevegasmattbracket.com at the time entries open. The prize is non-transferable and has no cash equivalent unless stated. The winner will be contacted via the email address associated with their account within 7 days of the final result being determined. The winner must respond and claim the prize within 14 days of notification or the prize may be forfeited and awarded to the next eligible entrant. The winner may be required to execute an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release as a condition of receiving the prize. If a prize winner is found to be ineligible, the prize will be awarded to the next highest eligible entrant.
PROHIBITED CONDUCT
You agree not to (a) create multiple accounts to submit multiple entries, (b) use automated tools, bots, or scripts to submit entries or manipulate the contest, (c) impersonate any person, (d) interfere with the operation of the site, (e) attempt to access other users' accounts or data, or (f) engage in any fraudulent activity in connection with the contest. Violation of this section will result in immediate disqualification and may result in legal action.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content on this site, including design, text, graphics, and the Vegas Matt brand marks, is the property of the Contest Operator or licensed from Vegas Matt. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.
DISCLAIMERS
THE SITE AND CONTEST ARE PROVIDED "AS IS." THE CONTEST OPERATOR MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, REGARDING THE SITE'S AVAILABILITY, ACCURACY, OR FITNESS FOR ANY PURPOSE. SLOT MACHINE PERFORMANCE IN THE ACTUAL TOURNAMENT IS INDEPENDENT OF THIS CONTEST AND BEYOND THE OPERATOR'S CONTROL.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE CONTEST OPERATOR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR PARTICIPATION IN THE CONTEST. THE OPERATOR'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THIS CONTEST SHALL NOT EXCEED THE VALUE OF THE PRIZE AWARDED.
INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Contest Operator from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your participation in the Contest, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third party's rights.
GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in a court of competent jurisdiction, at the Contest Operator's election.
MODIFICATIONS
The Contest Operator reserves the right to modify these Terms or cancel the Contest at any time, including due to technical issues, fraud, or circumstances beyond its control. Updated Terms will be posted on this page. Continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of modified Terms.
SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
